My pet doesn't have any digestive problems, can I give probio+ as a preventative?
Absolutely! Probiotics have several beneficial effects on the overall health of animals, such as strengthening their immune system, reducing the presence of bad bacteria in the intestinal flora, regulating stools and flatulence, and maximizing nutrient absorption and the benefits of food. As a preventative measure, serve the recommended portion of probio+ 3 times a week.
My pet has allergies, can he take probio+?
Yes! Our probiotics contain no protein, preservatives, or fillers. probio+ contains only prebiotic fibers and bacteria (probiotics).
My pet is picky, will he eat even with the probio+ added to the food?
Most animals love the taste of probiotics! The bacteria give off odors that are familiar to animals.
Can I use a human probiotic on my pet?
There's no danger in doing so, but the effectiveness is low. These bacteria are not suitable for animal use, and the results are either nonexistent or short-lived. Cats' and dogs' stomachs have high acidity, so many pre/probiotics will be destroyed.
Can I give my pet too many prebiotics and probiotics?
No, because they are viable microorganisms (100% natural and cannot have negative effects).
Is yogurt an effective probiotic for my cat or dog?
The bacteria present are adapted to grow in dairy products, not in an animal's gut. For the most effective results with probiotics, it's necessary to use products containing species-specific bacteria (all our bacterial strains are animal-specific). Furthermore, dogs and cats frequently have lactose intolerance because they lack the enzyme lactase necessary to digest lactose (yogurt = dairy product = lactose).
