If you're looking for a healthy and tasty way to give your dog probiotics, this recipe is for you! Rolled oats, natural peanut butter and mashed banana are healthy ingredients for dogs, while probiotics provide benefits for their digestive and immune systems. These treats are easy to prepare and can be stored in the freezer until ready to use.
Preparation : 20 minutes
Quantity : 24 small bags
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) quick cooking rolled oats
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) natural peanut butter (without xylitol)
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) banana purée
- 24 pouches of pre and probiotics for dogs
In a bowl, mix together the rolled oats with the peanut butter and banana purée until it has a uniform consistency.
Shape 24 balls using about 5 ml (1 tsp.) of the mix for each one of them.
Put the balls into a freezer bag. Remove the air from the bag and seal tightly. Lay the bag down in the freezer.
A few hours before giving the pre and probiotics to your dog, defrost a ball in the refrigerator.
Make a small hole in the centre of the ball. Put the contents of one small bag of pre and probiotics into the hole. Cover the hole with the mix to seal it.
Give the treat to your dog!
